Summary: Great place to stay with everything you need for a relaxing break, clean, private and peaceful. Things to consider before booking-steep path to the waters edge (we managed them fine but anyone with poor mobility may struggle), house is a home not a show house so the finish is not perfect in places and the third downstairs bedroom is not really a bedroom-it’s a cleverly utilised space in the front entrance area with two sets of bunk beds. Gabriel’s Cottage is remote, you will need to drive at least 15mins to amenities. Top tip - the nearby Golf Club (Riverdale) allows non members to use their Bar and Restaurant and is very good, don’t waste your time or money at Mom’s Restaurant. Don’t let these slight negatives put you off, there are a million more positives just look at the pictures, but they are worth pointing out.
